(he/him)
In 2013, my life took a sudden turn when I had a spiritual awakening, forever changing my outlook on life and the very nature of reality. I went on to study Reiki and Yoga, becoming certified in both modalities and practicing them for years to come. From there, I was led to study Advaita Vedanta, the ancient Vedic philosophy pertaining to the Oneness of all of Creation. For years, I prayed for a guru to show me the way along this path.
By an act of Divine Grace, I met Her, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, in 2017. Under Her guidance, I was able to connect deeper to a path of Love and service for others, deepen my meditation practice, and learn about the power of devotional singing. I have been fortunate to be able to spend time with Her here in the United States, as well as in Her ashram in Kerala, India.
I earned a degree in psychology in 2022 with the intention of pursuing a career in professional counseling. After earning my degree, I felt the call to explore healing on the somatic side of things instead, so I began leaning into my Yoga training. I discovered Restorative Yoga, which immediately resonated with me. My knowledge of psychology has informed the way I teach and understand Yoga as a tool for healing the body, mind, and spirit.
